PRODUCT IN DEVELOPMENT
Privacy notes
Pre-release draft. This summary describes the current development version and is not the final public privacy policy. We will publish complete contact, retention, hosting and data-processing information before store submission.
Page data processed by the extension
In the current development version, WebData Pilot extracts text from user-selected tables or repeated webpage items into the browser. You can review and export these results locally. The extension does not send this captured webpage content to a WebData Pilot server, and does not require a user account for this workflow.
Browser access and temporary storage
The extension requests activeTab, scripting and storage permissions. Access is triggered by user interaction. Extracted repeated-card data may be stored temporarily in chrome.storage.session so the popup can be reopened; language preferences may be saved to browser local storage. These are not uploaded to a WebData Pilot account.
This website
This preliminary static website does not include analytics, advertising trackers, payment forms or visitor accounts. If hosted by a third-party provider, normal infrastructure logs (for example IP address, browser metadata, and request timestamps) may be processed under that provider's service terms. The final policy will identify the production hosting provider and relevant practices.
Future optional paid or cloud services
Payments, membership accounts, and cloud or AI processing are not active. If introduced, related collection, processors, purposes, retention, security controls and consent choices will be documented before activation.
Support and updates
A verified support contact and final effective-date policy will be added before public release. Until then, do not send private page data or payment details through unofficial channels.
